Teach AI your voice has two parts. Your writing voice is three short samples of your own writing, so AI copy sounds like you wrote it. Your speaking voice is one 30-second recording, so Agent speaking videos can talk in your own voice.
Before you start
You need:
- One real example of each: a listing description, a social caption and a short client email. Each sample is optional, and each can be up to 2,500 characters.
- For your speaking voice, a quiet room and a microphone. Chrome or Safari works, or you can open Agentr.ee on your phone.
Saving writing samples is free. Recording your speaking voice is free too. Only the tools themselves cost credits when you run them. This is the same on Free and Pro.
How to teach AI your writing voice
- Open AI Studio at agentr.ee/workspace/studio and choose a writing tool, such as Caption writer or Listing description.
- Find the Your voice step and click Teach my voice. If you already started, the button says Finish my voice or Change.
- In the Teach AI your voice window, paste a sample into Listing description, Social caption and Client email.
- Click Save my writing.
The writing voice is used by Caption writer, Reel script writer, Listing description, Email writer, Script personalizer, Objection handler and Carousels. Each tool leads with the matching sample. For example, Email writer leans on your client email. The Post generator and the Social comment generator don't use it.
To edit a sample, open any of those writing tools, click Change, edit the text and click Save my writing. To delete a sample, empty that box and save.
How to record your speaking voice
- Open the Teach AI your voice window from a writing tool and scroll to Speaking voice. You can also click Record it on the "Teach AI how you sound — 30 seconds" card in AI Studio, or choose Record your speaking voice in Agent speaking's 3 · Voice step.
- Click Start recording and allow microphone access if your browser asks.
- Read the script under Read this out loud at a normal pace. It opens with the line "I, (your name), am recording my voice so Agentr.ee can generate audio in my voice."
- Click Stop. Your recording needs at least 10 seconds. It stops on its own at 29 seconds.
It saves by itself when you stop. There is no Save button. You'll see "Saved. Your videos will sound like you."
Tips for better results
- Paste writing you're proud of. The AI copies your style, not your facts. Facts always come from the property.
- You don't need all three samples. Tools use whatever you've given so far, but all three give the closest match.
- Read the whole script. The first line is your consent to Agentr.ee making audio in your voice, so it can't be skipped.
- If a take is too long, it is rejected, not trimmed. Try again at a normal speaking pace.
Common questions
Where do I change my writing voice later?
Open any of the writing tools listed above and click Change in the Your voice step. There is no separate settings page for it.
Which tools use my speaking voice?
Only Agent speaking. If you haven't recorded one, you can pick a preset voice instead: Charlie, Noah, Michael or Ethan.
How do I re-record or remove my speaking voice?
Open the Speaking voice block and click Re-record. The script shows first, then click Start the new take. The new recording replaces the old one. Click Keep the one I have to cancel. To delete it, click Remove and confirm. Download any Agent speaking videos you want to keep first.
Does teaching my voice cost credits?
No. Saving samples and recording are free on every plan. Running a tool that uses your voice costs what that tool normally costs.
