Create avatar turns an everyday selfie into a polished, professional headshot. You choose the outfit, pose, background and lighting, and Agentr.ee creates a new photo of you. Use it when you need a fresh profile photo for your website or social media, or a starting photo for Photo studio and Photoshoot.
Before you start
You need:
- 1 to 3 photos of yourself. A clear, front-facing shot works best. Adding a couple more angles sharpens the likeness.
- Your photos in your Media Library. If they aren't there yet, you can upload them from the Media Library while you work. Images can be up to 12 MB.
- 15 credits for each avatar. The price is the same on Free and Pro, and each Regenerate is another 15 credits.
Create avatar is not a Pro-only tool. On the Free plan you need at least 15 credits to run it. If you have fewer, you'll see "You need credits to run this" with an Add credits button and an Or go Pro button. Every new account starts with 30 welcome credits.
How to create your avatar
- Open AI Studio at agentr.ee/workspace/studio and choose Create avatar under Create images.
- Under Your photos, tap the Library tile. The Media Library opens.
- Upload a photo or pick one you already have. Repeat to add up to three photos.
- Under Choose an outfit, pick Man or Woman, then swipe through the outfits and pick one. Use the category chips to narrow the list.
- Under Finishing touches, add any accessories you want, such as shoes, a watch, jewellery, sunglasses or a manicure. These are all optional. Tap a choice again, or tap Remove, to take it off.
- Under Pose, pick Confident, Relaxed, Walking, Seated, Leaning or Close Portrait.
- Under Size, pick 9:16 (Reels, Stories), 4:5 (Feed post), 4:3 (Classic) or 16:9 (Wide, YouTube).
- Under Background, pick a preset, such as Studio White, Warm Cream, Modern Office, Luxury Interior, City Street or Garden.
- Under Lighting, pick a look, such as Soft, Studio Flash, Golden Hour, Window Light, Editorial or Moody.
- Tap Generate avatar. The line under the button shows the cost: "Uses 15 credits".
You'll see "Creating your avatar…". It usually takes under a minute. You don't need to stay on the page. It finishes either way, and the status pill tells you when your avatar is ready, with an Open button.
What you get
Each run makes one image in the size you picked. The result screen says Your avatar is ready and lists the outfit, pose and lighting you used. From there you can:
- Describe one change in Want a tweak? (for example, "turn slightly left, warmer smile") and tap Regenerate. Leave the box blank for a fresh take. Either way it's 15 credits.
- Tap Download to save the image to your device.
- Tap Create a photoshoot to open Photoshoot with this avatar already chosen as your photo.
Your avatar is saved automatically. Open the Media Library from any AI Studio tool, go to the AI Studio tab and tap the Avatar chip. Each avatar is titled with its outfit name, so you can search for it. It's also on your Generations page under Images.
Tips for better results
- Start with a clear, front-facing photo in good light. Add two more angles if you have them.
- Pick the size for where you'll post it: 9:16 for Reels and Stories, 4:5 for a feed post.
- Close Portrait shows only your head and shoulders, so shoes, a watch and a manicure won't be visible. The page marks them "Won't be visible in a close portrait".
- When you tweak, describe one change at a time and keep it to a sentence or two.
- To place your avatar in a new room or scene, open Photo studio. Its library opens on the AI Studio tab, so your avatar is one tap away.
Common questions
Is Create avatar free on Pro?
No. It costs 15 credits per avatar on both plans. Pro members spend from their 1,000 monthly credits first, then from any credits they've bought.
What happens if my avatar doesn't come out?
You'll see "That didn't work" with a short reason. When a run fails, the credits for it come back to you automatically, so you can try again.
Can I upload my own background?
Not in Create avatar. You pick from the background presets. To put yourself somewhere else, use Photo studio or the Background changer.
Where do I find my avatar later?
In the Media Library, on the AI Studio tab under the Avatar chip, and on your Generations page under Images.
