You can change the email you sign in with, and your password, from the Account settings page. It's the same on Free and Pro. If you signed up with Google and never set a password, you can add one there too.
How to change your email
- Click your name or photo at the bottom of the sidebar. On a phone, tap your profile photo at the top right.
- Choose Your account. The Account settings page opens.
- In the Personal information card, type your new address in Email, using only lowercase letters.
- Click Save. You'll see Saved. next to the button.
Your new email works right away. There's no confirmation email, and you stay signed in. The next time you sign in, use the new address. Password reset emails also go to the new address.
How to change your password
- Open Your account from the user menu.
- In the Change password card, type your Current password.
- Type your New password, then type it again in Confirm new password.
- Click Save. You'll see Saved. and the fields clear.
Your new password needs:
- at least 8 characters
- at least one number
- at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
If anything is wrong, all three fields clear and you'll need to type them again.
How to add a password to a Google account
If you signed up with Sign in with Google, your account may not have a password yet. In that case you'll see a Secure account with password card instead of Change password.
- Open Your account from the user menu.
- In the Secure account with password card, type a Password of at least 8 characters.
- Type it again in Confirm password.
- Click Set password.
You don't need a current password for this. Afterwards you can sign in with Google or with your email and password.
Before you change your email: Google sign-in
Sign in with Google finds your account by email only. If you change your login email away from your Google address, using Sign in with Google with that Google account will create a new, empty account and ask you to choose a username.
After you change your email, sign in with your new email and your password instead. If your account doesn't have a password yet, add one first, as shown above.
What a new email changes, and what it doesn't
- Changes: the email you sign in with, and where password reset emails go.
- Changes: where lead notification emails go, unless you're on Pro and have set a different address in Settings on the Leads tab.
- Doesn't change: the contact email on your website.
- Doesn't change: the Business email address in your business profile.
Tips
- Set a password before you change the email on a Google account, so you never get locked out.
- Update your website's contact email and your business profile separately if clients should use the new address.
- Use a password manager to create and save a strong password.
- The same Personal information card lets you change your Name and profile image.
Common questions
I forgot my current password. How do I change it?
Log out, then use Forgot password? on the login page to reset it. See How to reset your password or fix login problems.
Why won't my new email save?
Check that it's all lowercase and a valid address. If another Agentr.ee account already uses it, you'll need a different one.
Can I change my username here too?
Yes, the username card is on the same page. Changing it changes your page link, so read How to change your username (and what happens to old links) first.
How do I delete my account?
There's no delete option in your account settings. To ask for your account to be deleted, email support@agentr.ee.
