Your username is the part of your free links that points to you, like agentr.ee/janesmith. You can change it any time from Settings. Before you do, know that your old links stop working the moment you save.
How to change your username
- In the sidebar, click Settings.
- Click the Domains tab. On your phone, open the sidebar, tap Settings, then pick Domains from the tab dropdown.
- Scroll to the Username card and read the yellow warning: "Changing your username changes every link you've shared. Old links will stop working."
- In the Username field, type your new username. Your default link is shown around it, for example agentr.ee/ in front.
- Click Save. You'll see "Your URL is now changed."
Your new username must follow these rules:
- 2 to 30 characters.
- Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. No capitals, spaces, dots or underscores.
- It must start and end with a letter or a number, not a hyphen.
- It can't be taken by another account.
- Some words are reserved for the app, such as listings, settings, admin, help and blog.
If a name doesn't fit these rules or is already in use, you'll see a message under the field. Try a different one.
What happens to your old links
There is no redirect from your old username. As soon as you save:
- Your old free links stop working. That's agentr.ee/oldname, luxr.bio/oldname and oldname.sellsreal.estate. Visitors see a page not found.
- Your property pages, quizzes, lead pages and articles move to the new username too. Their own page names stay the same, but any old link to them stops working.
- Printed or downloaded QR codes that use your old link stop working. The QR code inside Agentr.ee updates to your new link.
- Your old username becomes available. Someone else can sign up with it.
If you've connected your own domain on Pro, links on that domain keep working. Your username isn't part of those links, so www.yourdomain.com and its property pages are not affected.
Tips
- Change your username before you print signs, cards or flyers, not after.
- Make a list of places your link lives: your Instagram bio, email signature, Google Business Profile and listing portals. Update each one after you save.
- Download a fresh QR code after the change. See How to share your page and download your QR code.
- If your dashboard still shows the old link, reload the page.
- Want a link that never changes with your username? Connect your own domain. See How to connect your own custom domain.
Common questions
Will my old link redirect to the new one?
No. Old links show a page not found. Update every place you've shared your link.
Can I switch back to my old username?
Only if nobody else has taken it. The old name is released when you change it, so another account could claim it first.
How often can I change my username?
There's no limit. Both Free and Pro accounts can change it whenever they like. Each change breaks the links from the name before it.
Does changing my username change my default free link?
No. Your choice of agentr.ee, luxr.bio or sellsreal.estate stays the same. Only the username part changes. See How to choose your free link: agentr.ee, luxr.bio or sellsreal.estate.
