You can show your property pages on your website in two ways. The Listing block features one property, and the Listings Carousel shows up to 10 in a sliding row. This article also explains exactly what the Hide property price? and Hide property address? settings cover, so you know what visitors can still see.
Before you start
- Create and publish at least one property page. See How to create a property page (and what to do with it).
- The Listings Carousel needs Pro. The Listing block works on Free.
How to feature one property with the Listing block
- In the sidebar, click Your website. On your phone, tap Edit under the preview first.
- Click Add section at the bottom of your blocks and pick Listing.
- Under Choose from your existing property pages, type at least two characters of the address in Search by address.
- Click the right result. A green Selected listing box confirms it.
- Publish your website to show the block.
Once a property page is linked, the card takes its status, address, beds, baths, square feet, price, photo and link from that page. The typed fields in the block are then ignored. Only pick a published property page, or the View listing button won't open it.
How to show several properties with the Listings Carousel
- Click Add section and pick Listings Carousel.
- Optionally fill in Accent text, Headline and Content for the heading above the cards.
- Under Listings source, keep Use filters or choose Manual entry.
- With Use filters, set Listing status, Beds, Baths, Price, Sort by price and Sort by date created. Up to 10 listings are shown.
- With Manual entry, click Add listing, then search for a property page or type the details yourself. Drag rows to reorder them. You can add up to 10.
- Click the check-mark button to save, then publish your website.
Listing status starts at For Sale, so pending and sold properties drop out. To include them, pick Any or another status such as Pending or Recently Sold. See How to mark a property page as pending or sold.
How to hide a property's price or address
- When you create a property page, go to the Review your listing step.
- Turn on Hide property address? under "Location information".
- Turn on Hide property price? under "Property details".
- Finish creating the page.
- To change the price setting later, open the page's Intro card, go to "Property details" and tick or untick Hide price. It saves right away.
The address setting can only be chosen during setup. There's no way to change it after the page is created.
What hiding does and doesn't cover
Hiding the price removes it from the property page's top card and from Listings Carousel cards.
Hiding the address keeps the street address out of the page's link, its default search title and description, and Listings Carousel cards. On carousel cards, the page's headline replaces the street address. City and state still show. If the headline is empty, the street address shows anyway.
Hiding does not keep the address or price private:
- The single Listing block on your website still shows the price and the street address.
- The address can still appear in the text when you share the page from its Share panel.
- Search engines can still read the address and price from the page.
If a seller wants the address or price kept private, check with them before you publish the page.
Tips
- For a hidden-price or hidden-address property, use the Listings Carousel, not the single Listing block.
- Give a hidden-address page a headline so the carousel has something to show in place of the street.
- A hidden-price property still counts in the carousel's Price filter by its real price.
- Filters mode adds new published property pages automatically. Manual rows need updating by hand.
- After a username change, reselect manual carousel rows so their links point to your new link. See How to change your username (and what happens to old links).
Free vs Pro
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Listing block | Yes | Yes |
| Listings Carousel | No | Yes |
| Hide price or address | Yes | Yes |
On Free you can publish one property page, so you can feature one live property on your website.
Common questions
Why isn't a property showing in my carousel?
With Use filters, only published property pages that match your filters appear. Check Listing status first, since it starts at For Sale.
Do I need to republish my website when a price or status changes?
No. Price, status and hide settings come from the property page itself. You only publish your website when you add a block or change its settings.
Can I hide the address after the page is created?
No. It can only be set during setup. The price setting can be changed any time.
