How to mark a property page as pending or sold

When a listing goes under contract or closes, update its property page so buyers see the right status. You change one field, Listing Status, and the new status badge shows on your live page right away. Use this whenever a listing's status changes, from new listing all the way to sold.

Before you start

How to change a property page's status

  1. In the sidebar, click Property pages.
  2. Find your listing and click its title, or click Edit in the row menu.
  3. In the editor, find the Intro card at the top.
  4. Under Property details, open the Listing Status dropdown.
  5. Pick the new status, for example Pending or Recently Sold. It saves as soon as you pick it, and the preview on the right updates.

You don't need to click Publish. The status badge on your live page changes right away. Other edits in the Intro card, like the headline, still need Publish.

How to mark a property page as sold

  1. Open the listing and set Listing Status to Recently Sold.
  2. Two more fields appear: Sold Price and Days on Market.
  3. Type the sold price as a number, with no commas or dollar sign.
  4. Type the number of days on market.
  5. Click the check-mark button at the top of the Intro card to save everything.

Both fields are optional in the editor. They're kept with your listing, but they aren't shown on your public page. Your page keeps showing the list price.

Which statuses you can choose

The Listing Status dropdown has nine options, the same on every screen:

  • For Sale (the default)
  • Recently Sold
  • Off Market
  • Pending
  • Coming Soon
  • Foreclosure
  • Auction
  • Rental
  • New Construction

On your live page, the status appears as a badge under the price, in capital letters, for example "PENDING" or "RECENTLY SOLD".

Tips

  • If your website has a listings carousel (a Pro section), check it after you change a status. By default its Listing status filter is set to For Sale, so a pending or sold listing drops out of it.
  • To keep showing a listing after it goes pending or sells, open the listings carousel section, choose Use filters, and set Listing status to Any.
  • Want a "Just sold" showcase? Add a second listings carousel and set its Listing status filter to Recently Sold.
  • In the listings carousel, each card's label shows the status, like "RECENTLY SOLD". In Manual entry, any accent text you type for a card replaces it.
  • If you set the status while creating a page, the field is called Property status there. It's the same setting.

Common questions

Is there an "Under contract" status?

No. Use Pending for a listing that's under contract.

Does the sold price show on my page?

No. Sold Price and Days on Market are saved, but the public page keeps showing the list price. If you'd rather not show a price at all, tick Hide price in the Intro card.

Do I have to publish after changing the status?

No. The status badge updates on your live page as soon as you change it.

Is this a Pro feature?

No. Every plan can change a property page's status.
