Auto customize turns a ready-made carousel from the content library or the 365-day content calendar into your own version. It fills in your city, adds your photos and your details, then opens the carousel in the editor so you can change any word and download the slides. It is the fastest way to post a library carousel that looks like yours.
Before you start
You need:
- A Pro plan. Auto customize is a Pro feature.
- A carousel post that shows the Auto customize button. Only posts that support it have the button.
- For photos of you: a saved photoshoot, or one clear photo of yourself with your face visible.
What it costs on Pro:
- The words: free. They come from the post, so nothing is written from scratch.
- Photos from this post: free.
- A saved photoshoot: free.
- A new photoshoot or Scene photos: 12 credits per photo.
- Fill in local places for me (optional): 25 credits. If you already paid for places in that city and haven't used them yet, you'll see "Already paid for" your city with "no new charge."
- Save and download: free.
Nothing is charged until you click Customize carousel.
How to auto customize a carousel
- Open the carousel post. From the Calendar, click a day or View day, then click the post's View → link.
- On the post's page, click Auto customize.
- If you see Your market, pick your city from the chips, or click + Other city and type it.
- Choose your State from the dropdown.
- Optional: tick Fill in local places for me if you want Agentr.ee to look up real restaurants, cafés, bars and spots in your city.
- Click Continue.
- Under Photos, choose Photos from this post, Photos of you or Scene photos.
- If you chose Photos of you, pick a set on the Saved photoshoots tab. Or open New photoshoot, add a clear photo of you and pick a style.
- Check the summary bar at the bottom of the page.
- Click Customize carousel.
- If you see "Getting your carousel ready", wait for it to finish, then click Open carousel.
If you picked a saved photoshoot or the post's own photos and no local places, the editor opens right away. New photos or places usually take a minute or two. You can leave the page. Photos land in your library either way, and the Auto customize page shows a note while they are still being made.
The market step only shows on posts about a city. Your city fills in the city on the slides, sets the location for scene photos, and is where local places are searched. The city chips come from your Audience settings.
Tips for better results
- Always check local places before you post. AI can make mistakes. In the editor, click View AI sources under a slide to see where each place came from.
- Leave Fill in local places for me off if you'd rather type the places yourself.
- Photos from this post is free and instant. A slide without its own photo uses the first one.

Common questions
Why don't I see the Auto customize button?
Auto customize is for Pro agents, and it only shows on posts that support it. If you are on the Free plan, you'll need to upgrade to Pro to use it.
Do my credits come back if no places are found?
Yes. If no places are found, the 25 credits come back automatically and the slides keep blank spots for you to type into. You'll see "Couldn't find places — type them in the editor. Credits returned." If some places are found, the full 25 credits are used.
What if some photos don't come back?
Each new photo is charged on its own. A photo that doesn't come back returns its own credits. If none of the photos come back, all of those credits are returned.
Can I keep editing while places are being found?
Yes. Click Open now — places keep filling in. The list slides show "Finding places in" your city while you edit the other slides.
