The Meta Pixel lets your Facebook and Instagram ads account see who visits your pages. That helps you measure your ads and show ads again to people who already looked at your site. Agentr.ee adds the pixel for you once you enter your Pixel ID.
Before you start
- You need the Pro plan. See Understanding plans and pricing on Agentr.ee.
- You need a Meta Pixel and its Pixel ID. The Pixel ID is a long number, with no letters or spaces.
How to connect your Meta Pixel
- In the sidebar, click Settings, then open the Analytics & tracking tab. On your phone, open the menu, tap Settings, and pick Analytics & tracking from the tab dropdown.
- Scroll to the Conversion tracking section and find the Connect Meta Pixel card.
- Click Connect.
- In the Meta pixel script field, type or paste only your Pixel ID number. Even though the label says "script", don't paste the pixel code.
- Click Connect below the field.
- Look for "Meta pixel successfully saved." The card now shows a green Connected badge.
You don't need to publish your website again. The pixel loads the next time someone opens one of your pages.
How to change or remove your pixel
- Open Settings and the Analytics & tracking tab.
- To change it, click Edit on the Connect Meta Pixel card, enter the new Pixel ID, and click Update.
- To remove it, click Disconnect. It's removed right away, with no confirmation step.
Where the pixel runs
Once connected, the pixel loads on all your public pages:
- Your main website
- Property pages
- Lead pages
- Quizzes
- Listicles
Each time someone opens one of these pages, the pixel records a page view in your Meta account. Your website needs to be published first. See How to publish your website and see your changes live.
Tips
- Enter the number only. If you paste the whole pixel code, you'll see "Meta pixel must be a number."
- Copy the ID straight from your Meta account so you don't miss a digit.
- After connecting, open your own website, then check your pixel's activity in Meta to confirm the visit came in.
- Want visitor reports too? Add Google Analytics on the same tab.
- Every lead from your forms is saved in your Leads dashboard, so you can always count leads there.

If you go from Pro to Free, the pixel stops loading on your pages. Your Pixel ID stays saved, and the pixel loads again if you upgrade.
Common questions
Why does it say "Meta pixel must be a number."?
You entered something other than the Pixel ID, such as the full pixel code. Delete it and enter just the number.
Is this the same as the Facebook Pixel?
Yes. Meta Pixel is the current name for the Facebook Pixel. It works for ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Do I also need Google Analytics?
No. The pixel loads and records page views without it. You can connect both on the same tab if you want visitor reports in Google Analytics too.
